NUPI observes Patriots' Day in Delhi

Imphal, August 13 2025: Ningols United Progressive Initiative (NUPI), Delhi observed Patriots' Day at Manipur Bhavan, Tikendrajit Marg, New Delhi on Wednesday, remembering those martyrs who laid down their lives in the Anglo-Manipuri War of 1891 .

As part of the observance, NUPI members paid floral tributes to the status of Yuvraj Tikendrajit and Thangal General, who were hanged to death by the British colonialists on this day in 1892 .

On the occasion, NUPI president Ranjana Longjam emphasised the importance of patriotism and love for the integrity of 'Ima Leibak' .
