MDA extends financial aid

Imphal, March 13 2026: The Manipur Drivers' Association (MDA) has provided financial assistance of Rs 10,000 to Oinam Tokio, a 62-year-old driver from Oinam Mamang Leikai in Bishnupur district.

The aid is intended to assist with his medical expenses.

Tokio had a long career as a driver on the Imphal-Jiribam road, transporting essential goods for the people of Manipur.

He has been undergoing medical treatment for his condition.

Today, a MDA team led by president Saikhom Babudhon and advisor S Ganga visited Tokio's residence to hand over the financial support.
