Imphal, December 11 2008:
Denying its involvement in the abduction of Thayong village chief, Rengneithang Kom, the KNF asserted that such acts were carried out by the enemy of the front with a design to malign the name of the front and also to create tension between communities and organisations.
A press release issued by the outfit's division III secretary S Mate also asked those involved in committing the criminal act in the name of the outfit to surrender to the front at the earliest.
It further urged upon the media and press fraternity to verify facts and authenticity of their sources before reporting any incident/event.
