Imphal, July 09 2025: A felicitation ceremony was held to honour blood donors at Babina Blood Centre today.

At the event, the first and only female Single Donor Platelet (SDP) donor of Manipur Karam Victoria was also honoured.

Speaking on the occasion, Dr Dhabali Thangjam, Managing Director, Babina Group of Companies, lauded blood donors and sought the help of voluntary blood donors to abolish "professional donors".

Meanwhile, Kumarjit Sarangthem, blood donation in-charge, AVBD, LAF, LSL and PATDO said that blood donors exist to help save lives.

20 individuals also donated blood at today's event.
