Bishnupur, October 07 2025: The Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) has appointed Nongmaithem Shivananda Singh of Nachou Panthou, Bishnupur as the president of Bishnupur Block Congress Committee.

According to a press release issued by md Wahidur Rahman, general secretary (organisation), MPCC, the post of president, Bishnupur BCC had been lying vacant due to the resignation of the previous office holder Moirangthem Bhogendro Singh.
