Kakching, July 07 2024: Representatives of Lois (ROL), Kakching has extended heartfelt condolences upon the passing of Dr Kh Sorojini Devi on July 2 due to an illness.

According to a statement issued by M Shamu Singh, secretary ROL, Kakching, the organisation held a condolence meeting at ROL Office and observed a 2-minute silence to pray for the departed soul to rest in peace.

Dr Kh Sorojini was the retired Director of Arts & Culture.

She also took on a significant role in ROL, Kakching's struggle to get caste certificate, as per the press release.
