Imphal, April 06 2026: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Manipur has informed that there will be irregular water supply to the public in the areas covered by Singda and Kangchup Water Treatment Plants due to extremely low water level at Singda Dam.

According to a release issued by the PHED, normal water supply will be affected in Iroisemba, Uripok, Langol, Game Village Lamphel, RIMS, Thangmeiband (Part) and Lalambung areas.

The PHED also assured that water supply will resume once the dam's water level is back to normal, apologising for the inconvenience caused.
