Imphal, December 04 2025: Six Manipur police officers have been promoted to the rank of Indian Police Service (IPS) .

The officers are Bembem Nongthombam, Priyadarshini Laishram, Mohemed Jackiruddin, Rajkumar Manbindu Singh, Sarangthem Asana, and Dr Sarangthem Ibomcha Singh.

An official order to this effect was issued by the Under Secretary to the Government of India.
