Blast rocks MU campus

Imphal, April 04 2026: A bomb exploded on the Manipur University campus in Canchipur, Imphal West, at around 7.50 pm today.

According to sources, the blast took place between two residential quarters, near the Manipuri Department.

The explosion occurred on the northern side of Langthabal Kunja Awang Leikai.

Reports suggested that the bomb might have been lobbed from beyond the university's wall.

No injuries were reported.

Authorities have tightened security in the area, and an investigation is underway.
