Imphal, March 04: In connection with the claim of the police on the arrest of two of its activists, the armed outfit United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) today clarified that Mangboi alias Lunjamang Singson alias Bobby Singson joined the outfit in May 2007 under army no.339K/A but given discharge on January 14 2008 on medical ground.

The claim of the police is a ploy to tarnish the image of UKLF which is already under a SoO agreement with the Govt, James Bond asserted.

As to the other arrested person identified as Jamtong Haokip, James Bond clarified that the said person is not related nor known to the outfit.

The State forces should stop such false propaganda and the UKLF would not take the matter lightly if the police commandos try to hamper the SoO ground rules.
