Imphal, October 02 2026: Members of All Manipur Veneer and Plywood Manufacturers' Association held a general meeting at The Imphal Hotel on October 1, chaired by general secretary Ngachonmi Ramshang.

A key highlight was the unanimous election of Sarungbam Bimol Singh as new president.

He will lead the organisation and champion interests of veneer and plywood manufacturers across Manipur.

The Association thanked outgoing president N Dilip for his dedicated service.

The new leadership appealed to members for continued support to advance the growth and welfare of Manipur's plywood and veneer industry.
