Imphal, October 02 2025: Security forces arrested two individuals who were allegedly involved in assaulting police personnel in plainclothes and vandalising their cars at Khewa Phurju in Imphal East on September 30.The arrested individuals have been identified as Kongjengbam Nanao alias Arunjit (21) of Pukhao Naharup under Sagolmang police station in Imphal East and Heikrujam Khamba Meitei (43) of Khewa Phuiju under Sagolmang police station in Imphal East.

The duo was arrested from Yumnam Patlou Awang Leikai in Imphal East yesterday.
