Imphal, May 02 2026: The Court of Session Judge, Imphal West, on April 29, convicted Soibam Somorjit, 46, in a murder case.

Soibam Somorjit of Sagolband Tera Lukram Leirak had been standing trial in connection with the murder of Soibam Pradeep.

Soibam Pradeep was struck on the head by Somorjit with aclub at Sagolband Tera Lukram Leirak on September 13, 2004 .

Pradeep died on his way to RIMS Hospital.

Somorjit was arrested on the same day.
