Imphal, October 31 2024: Governor Lakshman Prasad Acharya and Education Minister Th Basantakumar have extended their greetings to the people of Manipur on the occasion of Diwali.

The Governor, in his message, said that Diwali is one the biggest festivals of the Hindus which is celebrated across the length and breadth of the country.

"Let the light of Diwali dispel hatred, enmity and disunity among the people of Manipur," he prayed. Th Basantakumar, while extending his greetings, appealed to the people to embrace of unity and harmony and work together towards a brighter and more prosperous future for 'our State' .
