Imphal, September 30 2016: 12 Bihar Battalion of 9 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) organised a World Heart Day programme at Nambol, Bishnupur district today.

As part of the event, 'Run for Fun' was organised wherein a large number of students, NCC cadets and students of ABBA Boxing Club also took part.

The event was also attended by the DSP, Nambol police station, Dr Gambhir of RIMS and officials of 12 Bihar.

A lecture programme on hypertension was also conducted by Dr Gambhir apart from organising a free medical camp by 12 Bihar.

The event was participated by 250 people.

Prize distribution ceremony was organised at the end of the event.
