Imphal, July 31 2025: A newly constructed Health and Fitness Centre was inaugurated at the Manipur Legislative Assembly complex today by Speaker Thokchom Satyabrata.

Manipur Legislative Assembly Secretary Rohit Sapam, Additional Secretary (Administration) G Tapankumar Sharma and many staff of the State Assembly.

Speaking at the inaugural function, Speaker Th Satyabrata said that the Health and Fitness Centre was opened so as to give a space to the Assembly staff for relaxation and physical exercise after work.

As of now, badminton and table tennis can be played at the centre.

Plans are also afoot to add a gym to the centre, he added.
