Imphal, October 10 2017: 11 Assam Rifles of 26 Sector Assam Rifles under the aegis of HQ IGAR (South) conducted a lecture on 'basic first aid' for local populace of Chongjang, Chalson, Tengnoupal and Tibongmol villages of Tengnoupal district on Oct 9.According to a statement issued by the PRO of IGAR (S), the lecture and training on first aid was conducted by the officer and medical team of 11 Assam Rifles.

During the lecture the villagers were briefed upon the importance of first aid treatment during med emergency and various method of first aid.
