Imphal, June 22 2017: The work order and fund under MLA Local Area Development Programme were distributed to 18 beneficiaries of Kumbi AC yesterday .

A sum of Rs 30 lakh and work orders for the completed and ongoing developmental works under the supervision of the local MLA S Bira were distributed to the beneficiaries in person .

Some of the completed and ongoing works included Wangoo Mahila office and wooden bridge built over Sandangkhong canal, construction of pucca drain from Wangoo Chuthek to Bajabi etc .

The people of the AC lauded the local MLA for renovating the Sandel canal, which broke and flooded the 200 rice fields, before the fund for first phase was sanctioned.
