Commission seeks CBI chargesheet on July 23

Imphal, September 13, 2010: The One-man Commission of Inquiry looking into the fact and circumstances leading to the July 2010 firing incident at Khwairamband Bazar has asked SP CBI, Imphal to return copies of the chargesheet, documents and photographs seized by the CBI during the course of investigation into the case to the commission.

The hearing of the commission headed by Justice PG Agarwal abandoned since July 6 will be resumed on October 6 and the commission reportedly wanted to examine the chargesheet and related documents and photographs on the day of hearing.

An order of the Commission issued today further said that the report from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory regarding the case is yet to be received.
