Imphal, December 19 2008: THE VOLUNTEERS of Linthoingambi Women's Welfare Association, Taothong during drives in support of the CADA's campaign against drug and alcohol abuses seized 90 litres of alcohol from two different persons in Lamsang and Taothong area on December 14 and 16 last.

A CADA press release said that 30 litres of alcohol was seized from the possession of Yanglem Thoiba alias Kaorel of Taothong Apheiba Lamsang and 60 litres of alcohol was seized from Mutum Tombi (28) of Taothong Maning.

CADA destroyed the seized items in public and surrendered both the persons to their family after co understanding the consequences of trading drugs and alcohol and its abuse.

The CADA press release further thanked all clubs, organizations and associations for supporting CADA in routing out abusive drugs from the society.
