Imphal, October 04: Apunba Manipur Maiba-Maibi Phurup will organise a journal workshop on traditional folk healer medicines of the State during second week of December.

The body has got approval to organise the workshop from the Department of Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homeopathy (AYUSH) of Union Ministry of Health and Family Welfare during a workshop held on September 30 and October 1 at Indian Institute Bank Management (IIBM), Guwahati.

The body conducted a press conference in this regard at Uripok today.

President of the organisation, Tombiraj, Padmashree Laishram Nabakishore and MU Life Science Professor Dr PK Singh spoke on various aspects of traditional and indigenous medicines in the conference.
