Imphal, June 30: Former in-charge of North East States BJP and National co-convenor of Aajiwan Sahyogi Nidhi Acharya arrived at Imphal today on a three-day visit in connection with Aajiwan Sahyogi membership drive.

Participating in a meeting of the State Executive Committee and special invitees presided over by State party unit president Dr H Borobabu Singh, the visiting party leader explained the purpose of Aajiwan Sahyogi in detail and appealed to all the members of the party to come Aajiwan Sahyogis as first step towards clean politics.

The target of membership is 100 and it should be achieved by August 15 this year.

Consequently, during the meeting, the State party unit president has constituted a 10-member sub-committee with vice president of BJP Manipur Pradesh N Ibohal Singh as the State convenor.
