Imphal, November 03 2008: FORMER ADVOCATE general of Manipur and senior advocate Tayenjam Bhuban, a resident of Keishamthong Top Leirak died today.

He was 81. He obtained LLB Degree from Allahabad University in 1955, worked as secretary of Manipur Bar Association from 1960 to 1963, appointed as Panel Lawyer of the government in 1969, served as advocate general of Manipur in 1990 and was designated as Senior Advocate in 1992 .

Education Minister L Jayantakumar, state advocate general N Koteshwor, judges of Guwahati High Court and junior and senior members of High Court Bar Association, Manipur attended the funeral service of the deceased.
