Thoubal, February 25 2018: First Joychandra Award to Meritorious Students sponsored by Joychandra Tutorial Centre cum Boarding, Lamding, Wangjing was given to a total of 43 students today at an award ceremony held at EEO ground Multipurpose Community Hall, Lamding.

The meritorious awards were given to toppers of the first District Level Maths and English Talent Hunt competition which was held in October last year.

Ward no 2 councillor of Lamding-Wangjing Municipal Council Sh Shanti, Sanasam Bira Singh, Headmistress of Progressive English School Lamding, Narengbam Manglemsana Devi, Ng Kamdev Luwang, S Nabadweep and S Surjoy Singh attended the events as dignitaries.
