Ukhrul, January 22 2017: A one day joint training programme for district level Election Monitoring Committee (EMC) and all the political parties leaders of the district was held yesterday at Ukhrul police reserve line, Phungreitang, reports Mungchan Zimik.

During the training programme, Ukhrul Deputy Commissioner Pradip Chandren deliberated on election guidelines for free and fair election in the district.

The DC also instructed the bank officers to give timely report on huge cash transaction from any individual or candidate during the election.

In case of any discrepancy or complaint, correct first hand information has to be reported to the authority concern on time.
