Two kids drowned in Imphal River

Imphal, April 10 2023: Two kids drowned in Imphal River near Oin-am Sawombung dam under Lilong police station on Sunday.

The two victims have been identified as Md Danish (9) and Md Habib (8) of Oinam Sawombung.

Meanwhile, Manipur Han-dloom and Handicraft Development Corporation's former chairman Sagolsem Achouba visited the bereaved families on Monday and shared the grief and pain of the families.

He also prayed for the souls of the two victim kids to rest in peace and appealed to the public to keep children away from the river to avoid such unfortunate incidents.
