Imphal, November 08, 2008:
The Zeliangrong Students' Union, Barak Valley has slammed the 72 Field Regiment (Artillery) for the arrest of innocent civilians and branding them as UGs over the last few days, reports our Jiribam correspondent.
The Union has also warned the army to restraint itself from banding civilians as UGs.
Meanwhile, in contrary to the claim of 36 BRTF that the National Highway 53 will open to traffic from today, dozens of vehicles are stranded on both sides of a bridge near Makru due to repairing works carried out by the BRTF.
