Imphal, September 23 2024: Unidentified persons fired several rounds at Angoubi Energy Station (Indian Oil), a fuel retail outlet owned by former chief secretary Oinam Nabakishore located along Utlou Tiddim road under Nambol Police Station, around 1.40 am on Sunday.

Though there were no reports of any injuries or damages, search of the area led to recovery of eight casings of AK 47 rifle and two of INSAS rifle.

Nambol PS has registered a case in this regard.

It may be mentioned that unidentified armed persons also fired some rounds at the residence of the former chief secretary at Ningthoukhong Kha Ward no 7 on September 19 night.
