Imphal, July 14 2022: As part of routine security measures, Imphal West District Police Commando carried out search operations in Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai, Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai and Nepali Basti area from 6.40 am to 8.10 am on Thursday.

In all, 60 houses were searched and 75 people including 5 UGs, who are out on bail, were verified, but no arrests were made.

Meanwhile, another team of district police commandos conducted a search operation in Kakhulong and Masjid Road areas from 5 pm to 5.35 pm, during which 130 people were verified.

Of these, 4 people without identification documents were handed over to City PS and later released after proper verification.
