Chiefs demand removal of Cdl ADC Chairman

Imphal, June 05 2013: While blaming Chairman of ADC, Chandel Lunkhosei Zou for inconsistent obstinacy and diversion of MGNREGS funds, Chiefs and Chairmen of Machi Block, Chandel have demanded to oust the Chairman with immediate effect before the Chiefs and Headmen jointly move for his ouster.

In a statement signed by its Vice President A Charanga and General Secretary A Saka.

Machi Block Chiefs/Chairmen Association informed that it has unanimously resolved in a meeting today to condemn and initiate agitation against the decision by members of Chandel Autonomous District Council to divert and implement 25% of MGNREGS fund from each village account.
