UNC, CNPO observe Advent Christmas

Chandel, December 03 2015: United Naga Council (UNC) and Chandel Naga Peoples' Organisation (CNPO) celebrated Advent Christmas on Thursday in the Chakpi River bank near United College, Chandel.

Addressing the occasion, UNC President Gaidon Kamei lauded the Government of India for signing Naga Peace Accord with the NSCN (I-M) .

He said the Peace Accord will help bring peace in the State.

He wished that peace and prosperity will dawn with the coming of Christmas and New Year.

General Secretary S Milal; CNPO President Ws Kanral, Tangkhul Naga Long President Weapon Zimik and other various Naga leaders, church leaders and pastors participated in the programme.
