Khoupum, August 01 2026: The Zeliangrong Students' Union, in association with Khoupum Police, conducted a drive at various shops in Khoupum Bazar today and seized a number of expired edible items being sold to consumers.

During the drive, several expired food products, including cold drinks and other eatables, were found on sale at shops in the market.

Following thorough checks, the expired products were seized and subsequently disposed of by burning them in the presence of the public.

The drive was conducted to prevent the sale and consumption of expired food items and safeguard public health.
