Imphal, October 31 2024: As part of Vigilance Awareness Week, Assam Rifles organised an essay writing competition at St Mary School in Chandel district on October 29 on the theme 'Role of Integrity in Public Service' .

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that the competition aimed to nurture students' personal development, and encourage them to express their views on integrity and importance of ethical values in public service.

The event participated by 20 students also had an interaction session focusing on importance of honesty and trustworthiness in public service and explored career opportunities for young aspirants interested in civil service roles, it stated.
