Agreement reached on Ranjit's death; bandh plan shelved

Bishnupur, July 30 2025:
An agreement was reached on Wednesday between family members, Asian Hospital Management Committee and the JAC formed in connection with the controversial death of one Moirangthem Ranjit (40), son of (late) M Mangi of Nambol Kongkham Mayai Leikai.
Ranjit was admitted at the Hospital on July 26 after met an accident.
After the agreement, Ranjit's family claimed the body for conduct of the last rites.
Addressing the media, JAC convener L Premila Leima informed that signing of the agreement was placed.
