UDHR copies in Aimol-Chiru-Koren languages released

Imphal, October 24 2024:
Centre for Peace Education Manipur (CFPEM) released the translated copies of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR, 1948) in the languages/dialects of Aimol, Chiru and Koren (Koireng) tribes.
In a release, CFPEM informed That the translated documents are available online and further expressed elation at the translations.
It noted that a Kom version of UDHR was officially released in 2008 by (late) Prof Ksh Bimola Devi at Manipur University during the 60th anniversary of the UHDR.
The release further urged all to work earnestly and help in the promotion of this year's UN theme 'Cultivating a culture of
peace' .
