PREPAK (Pro) cadres held, mobile phones recovered

Imphal, July 23 2025: Manipur police arrested three cadres of the proscribed PREPAK (Progressive) from different locations on Tuesday.

According to a press note by Manipur police control room, police arrested one active cadre of PREPAK (PRO) identified as Wangkhem Am-arjit Meitei alias Tang alias Lamyanba (31) of Chingmeirong Maning Leikai on Tuesday.

Based on Amarjit's confessions, cadres Laishram Pan-gamba Meitei alias Mexico (31) of Haorang Keirel Makha Leikai and Khangembam Ricky Meitei alias Yaiphaba (27) of Lamsang Taothong Ayungba Mamang Leikai were arrested from their respective residences.

Police recovered two mobile phones and three wallets from their possession.
