Farmers briefed on pea cultivation

Imphal, October 22 2024: A one-day awareness programme on pea cultivation was jointly conducted by the Department of Agriculture, Diocesan Social Service Society (DSSS) and three farmers' groups at Lamboikhul community hall in Imphal East district on Tuesday.

The programme attended by Agriculture Department nodal officer (millet) Kh Nimaichand Singh, DSSS service provider Awoyo Lungleng and other officials, had subject experts sharing insights on effective pea cultivation techniques and strategies to improve yield.

Pea seeds and fertilizers were also distributed to the farmers in attendance.
