KBBWA withdraws boycott

Kakching, August 21 2017:
The Kakching Bazar Business Welfare Association (KBBWA) along with women vendors of Kakching Bazar have withdrawn their decision to boycott the Kakching Municipal Council .
A press release issued by KBBWA secretary stated that the resolution to withdraw the stance was adopted after the Council, in a joint meeting with Kakching CSOs, MLAs of Kakching and Wabagai ACs, assured to halt the construction work of 64 stall building (Kakching supermarket) and to hear the pleas and demands of the association and women vendors .
The resolution was adopted after thorough deliberation between KBBWA and the women venors of Kakching bazar, it added.
