Imphal, May 16: As part of the H-13 project of UNODC, a 15-day detoxification camp is currently underway under the aegis of Integrated Women and Children Development (IWCDC) at its Shine De-addiction Centre located at Thangmeiband Yumnam Leikai since May 13.In all 15 drug users are taking part in the camp.

The detoxification session of the camp would be concluded tomorrow and the actual treatment session which include counselling, motivational activities, etc to bring about behavioural changes would commence from May 18 till May 27 at the building of North Imphal Youth Orient Club at Thangmeiband Hijam Dewan Leikai.

The H-15 project of the UNODC aims to prevent transmission of HIV among injecting drug users (IDUs) in SAARC countries.
