Imphal, November 08, 2008: Hailing Chief Minister O Ibobi for handing over relief fund to the Deputy Commissioners of Tamenglong, Chandel and Churachandpur districts for further distribution to the families affected by bamboo flowering and the subsequent failure of crops, the District Level Development Co-ordinating Team (DCT) Federation, Tamenglong District has appealed to all NGOs and UG groups not to interfere in the distribution of the relief fund.

A press release issued by the DCT also appealed to the people of the three districts to help in proper implementation of relief measures.
