Dengue cases in Moreh reach 129

Moreh, August 30 2022:
With the detection of six new cases of dengue in Moreh on Tuesday, the total number patients suffering from the vector-borne disease in the Indo-Myanmar border town since July has reached 129 with 10 patients presently undergoing treatment at Sub-divisional hospital, Moreh.
Out of the six new cases, two patients each are from Gamnon Veng and Super market and one patient each from T Yangnom village and Cannan Veng.
Six cases of dengue were also detected on Monday, of which two each are from Heinou Makhong Leikai and Sahei village, one each from Premnagar Leikai and Khudengthabi village.
After the death of a dengue positive patient at RIMS, there has no casualty due to the viral disease so far.
