Imphal, June 25 2009: A woman died of hemorrhage after delivery of a comatose baby this morning around 4.37 at JN Hospital.

The woman has been identified as Pangbam Ongbi Indira (34) of Kongpal Ningthoubung Leikai.

Mother of two daughters, Indira was admitted to JN Hospital for delivery purpose on June 22 last.

She gave birth to a daughter this morning normally.

Unfortunately the child was born death.

An hour later, the mother succumbed to excessive hemorrhage.

Her dead body was taken by the police from the hospital.

The same has been handed over to family members after an agreement with the Imphal East police station, Superintendent of JN Hospital and family members was reached at.
