Imphal, October 24 2024: Naga Chiefs' Association, Chandel (NCAC) has declared that fencing of the Indo-Myanmar border by any entity, state or otherwise, will not be allowed in Naga inhabited areas of Chandel/Tengnoupal.

In a statement, NCAC affirmed and endorsed the resolution of the Naga Village Chiefs' Federation, Manipur To vehemently oppose fencing of the Indo-Myanmar border in Naga settlements of Manipur.
