Imphal, February 21: Expressing strong resentment against indifferent attitude of State authorities, the Loktak Development Authority (Retrenched) M/R Employees and Workers' Association has threatened to launch fast unto death agitation.

Inspite of cessation of LDA activities after the Association members went on strike since January 28 neither the LDA Minister nor its Chairman (Chief Minister) accord importance to the matter, the Association lamented while urging all concerned to extend cooperation in resolving the issue.

Failure of the State authorities to initiate appropriate positive action would leave no other option than to take the extreme course of democratic protest, the Association added in a release.
