Imphal, March 19 2023: Utra Shanglen, Sana Konung performed 'Chingoi Eruppa' ritual at Selloi Langmai Ching section of Chingoi River on Sunday, the 28th day of the Manipuri lunar month of 'Lamta' .

In a release, Utra Shanglen publicity secretary Laishram Poireiton explained that the ritual is performed to commemorate the incarnation of Selloi Patanga as Yumjao Lairembi.

Angom ningthou, Laidam rakpa, Langching purel, Wangkhei rakpa, Khabam rakpa, Khwai rakpa, maichou and amaibi took part in the ritual performance.

Later, Sana Konung and UKAL jointly conducted cleanliness drive at Kongba Maru, he added.
