Imphal, March 13: A three day Multi Media Information Campaign organised by the Department of Information and Public Relations and District Information Office, Churachandpur was opened today at Synod Hall, New Bazar, Churachandpur.

The inaugural function of the campaign was attended by Information Minister TN Haokip as chief guest and DC Churachandpur Sumant Singh as president.

Speaking at the occasion, TN Haokip stated that the campaign is being held to create awareness among the people on the various schemes taken up by the Centre in Churachandpur district as flagship programmes.

Besides a number of district level officers, representatives of NGOs, community leaders and students, the opening function was also attended by MLA Ngursanglur, informed a DIPR release.
