Imphal, July 06 2026: In a major step for local academic publishing in Manipur, Yai Publications has entered the field with the release of"Funda-mentals of Colostrum and Neonatal Care in Farm Animals", a scientific book co-authored by Dr Shrilla Elangbam, Dr Hari Om Pandey and Dr Ayon Tarafdar.

The book was formally launched on Sunday at The Classico Bistro, Khurai Chingangbam Leikai.

Naorem Mohen, journalist, India Today NE, attended as chief guest.

Dr Yumnam Lokeshor, Assistant Professor, Zoology Department, DM University, introduced the book.

Dr Naorem Thoinu, founder of Yai Publications, presided over the function.

The publication marked Yai Publications' debut in academic books.
