LLM and Fine Arts courses would be opened at Manipur University from the academic session 2016-17, informed MU Vice Chancellor HNK Sharma.
Book released
A book written by Tekcham Roshan titled as "Mayaichanba Manipuri Sahityada Mityeng Ama" was released yesterday at Tekcham Sports and Cultural Organization (TSCO) ground.
The event was graced by TSCO president L Chaoba, YK College Assistant Professor Dr L Sanahal, TSCO General Secretary Rajen Roshan Khuman as chief guest, president and guest of honour respectively, according to a statement issued by the secretary TSCO.
NIT conference
National Institute of Technology (NIT), Manipur is organizing an international conference on "Emergency Trends in Science and Engineering Research (ETSER 2015)" from December 2 to 4 at NIT Manipur, Langol campus.
Academicians and scientists from University of Florida, USA, University of Maryland, USA, IITs, and IIScs etc, will attend the conference, according to the convener of the organizing committee.
Yoga player selected
Lashmi Yoga Sadhana Kendra, Ningthoukhong has informed that Khwairakpam Nabokumar Singh of Ningthoukhong has been selected to represent Manipur in the upcoming 34th National Yoga Championship to be held at Chennai in the above 60 category.
Lashmi Yoga Sadhana Kendra wishes Khwairakpam Nabokumar all the best and hoped that he will bring laurels to the State.
