Imphal, October 28 2008: The outlawed PREPAK has denied any sort of relationship with one Elangbam Santajit alias Santa (34) s/o E Thamboumacha, whom troops of the 21 Assam Rifles apprehended on October 25 from Keirak Leirak Achouba and claimed to be an activist of the armed organisation.

Dismissing as baseless AR's contention, Thoubal District Commander of the banned group Yaifangamba maintained that Santajit of Wabagai Tera Pishak Awang Leikai is neither its armed cadre nor an overground worker.

Indian security forces branding innocent persons as UG activists after arrest is not surprising as such a tactic is being applied to suppress the revolutionary movement at all cost, the commander alleged while contending that the State Govt is a party to such a sinister ploy.
