Arms recovered

Imphal, April 28 2026:
Security forces recovered a cache of arms and ammunition from Maovom and its adjoining area in Churachandpur district, today.
The recovered items include one AK 47 rifle, three single barrel guns, one pistol with a magazine, one pompi, two 35mm grenades and one 81mm mortar shell, according to a police bulletin.
Security forces also dismantled five illegal bunkers under Saikul police station in Kangpokpi and another seven under Litan police station in Ukhrul.
